The main thing with AD is that you guys do the deals that nobody else does. When you’re in the Non‑QM business, there’s a lot of pieces to the puzzle and we have to see how we structure the deal to make it work. A lot of deals I’ve closed with AD were already turned down by other lenders. So, I think that’s a big impact on our business.

Great team to work with. I just closed one of the most complex transactions of my career with A&D Mortgage, and it was not easy in any fashion.
This was a manually underwritten Non-QM bank-statement file with LLC vesting, a revocable trust on the asset side, and several structural questions that had to be worked through the credit and underwriting teams. We had real challenges along the way, right up to closing. What stood out is how open they were. The account executive, underwriting, and team leads stayed in the file, listened to the way we framed the risk, and worked with us on structure instead of shutting the door.
