The 13th annual Best in Biz Awards program experienced intense competition with over 600 entries. These entries came from both public and private companies across industries and regions in the U.S. and Canada. The entries ranged from global brands to startups and local companies. The judges this year focused on innovation, new technology use, workplace benefits, and diversity and inclusion programs. They also noted community involvement and investments in environmental and social responsibility.
Since 2011, Best in Biz Awards winners have been chosen by independent judging panels. These panels consist of respected journalists from national and local media across North America. The judges’ expertise and experience, coupled with their media diversity, make these panels uniquely qualified. They objectively select the best from hundreds of entries. The 2023 judging panel included writers and contributors to Ad Age, Computerworld, Fast Company, Forbes, Inc., Portland Tribune, and Washington Post.
