The next ADvantage Loyalty Program webinar is right around the corner. We sat down with El Klepfer, Project Specialist and one of the major reasons for the project’s success, to discuss the program’s creation, evolution, and what rewards are coming soon.

It doesn’t take long to realize why the ADvantage Loyalty Program has received so much praise and attention from A&D Mortgage partners. The project recently exceeded 3,500 participants in less than a year, and when you talk about the project with the people behind its development, you quickly understand how much passion, energy, and enthusiasm the team puts into it.

El Klepfer is a big part of that passion. Klepfer hosts the A&D Mortgage workshops that teach partners how to easily navigate the loyalty program and maximize its benefits. When did A&D Mortgage create the ADvantage Loyalty Program?

 El Klepfer: The program was officially launched in July 2024. We spent over a full year before that working out a list of useful benefits that our partners can profit from, as well as a list of earning activities that are beneficial to engage in. We also conducted tests and collected preliminary feedback from our pilot group. Finally, we tried to make sure the interface is simple and intuitive, and that it is easy enough to find one’s way around the portal. We were building something solid and long-lasting that would bring benefits along with convenience.

How easy is it to use and navigate? How long does it take to master?

Klepfer: The program was designed to give our partners all the available tools to enhance their loan experience without consulting their AE or support team. The process behind every transaction was carefully thought out to lead the user to the result as quickly and simply as possible. This is why we usually see the first transactions with new members in mere minutes after they join the program. In addition, we like to make sure that all possible questions are answered, so we conduct regular workshops to interact with our partners live and discuss any details they would like to explore or comment on.

How has it evolved since the launch?

Klepfer: Since the program’s inception, we have added 6 new ways to earn rewards and 3 more ways to redeem them. It is a priority for us to keep pace with other products and features constantly being launched at A&D. At the beginning of this year, for example, a new and helpful feature called Self-disclosure was added to the disclosure issuing process, and we wanted to support it by offering an additional incentive for our partners to give it a try and see just how simple and timesaving it is for mortgage professionals.

What is your favorite feature?

Klepfer: For me, it’s got to be the logic behind rewarding funded loans. As a base, every loan that a Loyalty member completes with A&D is rewarded with a standard number of points. On top of that, more rewards are added depending on various speed and efficiency targets, which can help you increase the number two to three times. One more recent addition that we had was adding all the business channels that we work with, which now include Wholesale, Correspondent, and Correspondent Plus loans.

How can Partners get the most out of it?

Klepfer: First, join the Loyalty Program as soon as you become our partner – that helps you make sure that all loans that you close with us are awarded. Also, did you know that during your first 90 days with A&D Mortgage, the reward for every funded loan is doubled? The more loans you manage to close during your first 3 months as our partner, the bigger the number of points you receive. Finally, make sure to check in for more options being added – we are constantly coming up with new ideas on how to broaden our scope of activities and bring you closer to success.

Are there new features and rewards coming in the future?

Klepfer: You better believe it! For the past couple of quarters, we have been working on both enhancing personal perks for our MLOs and adding new benefits on a company level where your team can earn points together collectively. We hope that these will contribute even more to making your experience smoother and more pleasant as our partner.
