Most LOs can’t keep a pipeline moving through email alone. Talking through a real loan scenario with someone who works with that program every day is different than reading a product sheet. Often, it shifts how brokers approach the next deal. To move forward and develop professionally, join the Ultimate Mortgage Expo 2026 by Originator Connect Network (OCN).

The event takes place on July 9, 2026, at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA. For brokers looking to sharpen their edge heading into the second half of the year, it’s worth the trip.

What is on the Schedule

The main event runs on Thursday, July 9, with education sessions starting at 8:00 a.m. and the exhibit hall opening at 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, July 8, the Mortgage Star Conference for Women runs as a companion event. Registered attendees can opt in to both with a single registration.

The optional NMLS-approved CE class is scheduled for Friday, July 10 (more on that below).

Practical Sessions for Working Brokers

The 2026 agenda takes on the following topics:

  • How AI-powered underwriting is already reshaping loan decisions at scale
  • Reverse mortgages and the growing demand from the 62+ demographic
  • Commercial real estate lending basics: property types and cash-flow analysis
  • Non-QM strategy and business development

Dedicated sessions will give brokers practical pieces of advice which they can use the following week.

Build Your Network in the Exhibit Hall

The exhibit hall opens at 12:30 p.m. and brings together lenders and industry partners under one roof. For brokers, it’s a concentrated window to meet people they would otherwise spend weeks trying to reach by phone.

Face-to-face conversations in a setting like this move faster than most other forms of outreach. Whether the goal is finding a better-fit lender for a recurring scenario or learning about a niche program, the exhibit hall is where those connections happen.

Earn Your NMLS Credits

The optional 8-hour NMLS-approved continuing education class runs on Friday, July 10, and is free with pre-registration. To qualify, attendees must complete their Exhibit Hall Passport by visiting each exhibitor during the main event on July 9.

The class covers the 7-Hour CORE and 1-Hour General Elective (course #18482), provided by MaxClass. To attend classes, you need to register in advance. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

For brokers who need to hit their CE requirement before renewal season, this is a practical way to knock it out in one trip.

Meet AD Mortgage at the Expo

AD Mortgage will be at the Ultimate Mortgage Expo and plans to connect with brokers throughout the day.

Stop by the AD Mortgage booth to speak with our representatives. Whether you have a specific deal you’re working through or want to compare program options side by side, our team is there to have that conversation.

It’s also a good opportunity to talk through what the current market looks like from a lender’s perspective and where the opportunities are heading into Q3.

See You in New Orleans

The Ultimate Mortgage Expo brings together education and connections that are hard to replicate outside of an event like this. Make a plan to be in New Orleans on July 9, register early, and don’t forget to use promo code ADFREE at checkout.

AD Mortgage looks forward to seeing you there.
